Cryolipolysis effective in grades I, II pseudogynecomastia up to 1.5 years

Researchers discovered the benefits of cryolipolysis for reducing male breast enlargement.

A total of 21 patients with grade I and II pseudogynecomastia received a 60-minute cryolipolysis cycle, a two-minute massage and a second 60-minute treatment with 50% treatment area overlap.

After 60 days of follow-up, patients received a second 60-minute treatment.

Researchers used ultrasound, clinical photographs and subject surveys to assess treatment response.

According to surveys, improved visual appearance was found in 95% of patients and89% reported reduced embarrassment associated with the condition.

Ultrasound results revealed a reduction of 1.6 ± 1.2 mm.

Patients reported mild discomfort during the treatment and transient paresthesia and tenderness.
