Sciton: Four skin specialists win before and after photo contest

Sciton Inc. announced the winners of its 2015 Best Before and After Photo Contest, which allows physicians and clinicians to share their laser results with the Sciton community, according to a press release.

Sciton received nearly 200 submissions, “demonstat[ing] the artistry possible using Sciton’s science and technology to create striking results that change lives,” Rick Mendez, vice president of global marketing, said in the press release.

The four category winners receiving $1,000 in addition to other prizes include:

Benign lesions – Rhinophyma – Sherrif Ibrahim, MD, assistant professor, dermatology, University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, N.Y.;

Benign Pigmented Lesions – Resurfacing – Kelly O’Donnell, MD, Phelbologist, O’Donnell Vein and Medical Spa, Chester, Md.;

Other Dermatological Conditions – Port Wine Stains – Chris Robb, MD, PhD, dermatologist, Skin and Allergy Center, Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and

Aesthetic Treatments – Resurfacing fine lines, wrinkles, benign pigmented lesions – Cherie Fraser, aesthetic and laser specialist, Dermology Laser Clinic, Grayston Medical Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa.
