The Plastic Surgery Foundation announced an agreement with Acelity for support of the foundation’s General Registry of Autologous Fat Transfer.
The GRAFT Registry will be a Web-accessible national database where participating centers contribute aesthetic or reconstructive surgery case study information.
Data on patient demographics, procedural variables, complications and incidence of new or recurrent breast cancers will be tracked at specific time points.
The GRAFT Registry will also use scales from the BREAST-Q, to determine procedural impacts on patient-reported outcomes and quality of life.
The data will be used to help establish best practices with fat grafting across the plastic surgery community.
