Bertucci serves as co-director of the Dermatologic Laser Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology Fellowship at the University of Toronto, a consulting dermatologist at Women’s College Hospital and an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He serves on committees with the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) and is a contributing editor for Dermatologic Surgery and The Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, the release stated.

"Like me, many Canadian dermatologists are also members of American dermatological societies and we bring our Canadian health care perspective to various committees," Bertucci told Healio.com/Dermatology. "As president of the Canadian Dermatology Association, I will reach out to  societies like the American Academy of Dermatology and ASDS to find more opportunities to strengthen our collaboration."

Bertucci assumed the 1-year term at the Canadian Dermatology Association Annual General Meeting in June.
