The Facial Fellowship Program, which allows qualified fellow candidates to sit for the facial cosmetic surgery board exam, is being reinstated with the establishment of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, according to a press release from the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) is currently looking for qualified directors interested in establishing local facial fellowship programs. Guidelines and submission instructions can be found on the AACS website.

To qualify for a directorship, candidates must be a Diplomat of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and a current Fellow-level member of AACS, according to the release.
