Galderma appoints new leadership for business units in North America

Galderma Laboratories has introduced new global strategies and leadership teams for its North American affiliation, according to a company release.

The company has transitioned its North American affiliation into three specific business units: prescription medications, self-medication products, and aesthetic and corrective medical solutions. The company plans on launching a number of new products in each business unit in the upcoming months, according to the release.

Galderma has appointed Todd Zavodnick as president and general manager; Safia Rizvi as vice president and general manager of the U.S. prescription business unit; and Miles Harrison to vice president and general manager of the U.S. self-medication business. For an interim period, Zavodnick will also continue to lead the aesthetic and corrective medical solutions business unit until a new vice president is appointed within the next several months.

"With this reorganization, our customers will see that all the reasons they value and trust Galderma will remain unchanged, while our ambitions and product lines are growing simultaneously in three business channels to meet even greater skin health needs," Zavodnick said in the release.

Philip Brown, MD, JD, will remain senior vice president of medical and regulatory affairs, according to the release.
