Cipher names new vice president of medical, clinical affairs

Cipher Pharmaceuticals announced it has appointed Lynne Bulger as vice president of medical and clinical affairs.

Bulger, who has more than 27 years of experience in drug development in the pharmaceutical industry, will lead the company’s efforts in clinical development and medical affairs for current and new pipeline products, according to a company press release. Cipher is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on dermatology.

Bulger most recently was director of medical affairs at Steifel, with responsibility for medical affairs activities for Steifel Global and Canada for 35 dermatology products, according to the release. She also served as president of the Canadian Dermatology Industry Association from 2005 to 2008.
