Video: Ivermectin 1% cream for treating papulopustular rosacea

DENVER — Linda Stein Gold, MD, director of clinical research at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, discussed research on ivermectin 1% cream in treating patients with papulopustular rosacea at the American Academy of Dermatology annual meeting.

Stein Gold called the ivermectin 1% cream (IVM 1%) a "new, innovative treatment,"  as demonstrated during two randomized, double-blind controlled phase 3 studies of IVM 1% or vehicle cream once daily for 12 weeks as treatment for patients with moderate to severe papulopustular rosacea.
