Galderma launches Skinpact Program, global awards initiative

Galderma has announced the launch of its Skinpact Program, with the goal of creating a responsible and sustainable dermatological community, according to a company press release.
In partnership with the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS), Galderma has also announced the launch of the Skinpact Awards, a global search for initiatives that will help strengthen the dermatology community.
Entries will be accepted in two categories — community leadership and excellence in education — and two winning entries will receive funding for the implementation of future projects to help shape advances for improvement of communities and patient quality of life, according to the release.
The Skinpact awards are open for entry from now until Feb. 4, 2015. In March, the shortlisted entries, which will be chosen with the help of an expert panel of leading dermatologists from the ILDS, will be announced and peer voting will begin.
Winners will be granted $15,000 in June 2015 at the World Congress of Dermatology in Vancouver, according to the release.
