Syneron launches new tattoo-removal device
Syneron Medical announced the international launch of its PicoWay picosecond device at the annual European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Congress in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The device has 532 nm and 1,064 nm wavelengths and generates picosecond pulses for the treatment of pigmented lesions and tattoos, including recalcitrant tattoos, according to a company press release.
PicoWay has received CE mark and is pending clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Syneron anticipates receiving FDA clearance for PicoWay by the end of 2014, according to the press release.
