In honor of the first International Urticaria Day, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Canada announced the launch of its Skin Impressions campaign, designed to give insight into the lives of people with chronic idiopathic urticaria.

As a collaboration between Novartis and photographer Rick Guidotti from Positive Exposure, the campaign is aimed at capturing what living with severe skin diseases like chronic idiopathic urticaria is like, according to a press release from Novartis.

Skin Impressions features 14 patient ambassadors in images and videos with the goal of breaking down barriers that prevent people with severe skin disease from living their lives to the fullest, according to the press release.
