For the 30th straight year, Cleveland Clinic topped U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals rankings for cardiology and heart surgery.

They are committed to excellence in every aspect of their work, not just in terms of clinical outcomes, but in also in our approach to patient experience, research and innovation, and in training the next generation of heart-care professionals.”

The top five U.S. hospitals for cardiology and heart surgery in the 2024-2025 Best Hospitals rankings are:

  1. Cleveland Clinic
  2. NYU Langone Hospitals
  3. Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota
  4. Mount Sinai Hospital
  5. NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital–Columbia and Cornell

New to the 2024-2025 ranking, U.S. News & World Report incorporated data on care provided to patients with Medicare Advantage insurance as well as outpatients, almost doubling the number of patients included in the analysis, according to a U.S. News & World Report press release.

In addition, U.S. News & World Report also added rankings for Best Regional Hospitals for Equitable Access to its annual report.

“Choosing the right hospital to match your needs shouldn’t be a guessing game,” Ben Harder, chief of health analysis and managing editor at U.S. News & World Report, said in a press release. “The 2024-2025 edition of Best Hospitals provides patients and their families clear, data-driven insights on hospital performance and empowers Americans to choose the facility best suited to their specific health care needs.”
