LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In this Healio video exclusive, the president of American Society for Preventive Cardiology discusses the return to an in-person ASPC Congress on CVD Prevention as well as some highlights from the meeting.
ASPC President Martha Gulati, MD, MS, FACC, FAHA, FASPC, who is associate director of the Barbra Streisand Women's Heart Center and director of preventive cardiology at Cedars-Sinai reviewed ASPC presentations about the future of CV prevention; BP control; open artery ischemia; the interaction between heart disease, diabetes and chronic kidney disease; the role of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in dyslipidemia; and the personalization of hypertension treatment.
