New Chest Pain Center certifications offered to Middle East hospitals

The American Heart Association and the Emirates Cardiac Society, a non-profit focused on cardiology, launched a new program that provides Chest Pain Center certifications to hospitals in the Middle East, according to a press release.

The program is intended to improve outcomes in patients with CVD by providing certified care to patients with STEMI. To obtain certification, hospitals will need to adhere to the latest guidelines, which improves patient care, the organizations stated in the release.
