SAN ANTONIO — In this video exclusive, Amit Khera, MD, MSc, FACC, FAHA, president of the American Society for Preventive Cardiology, provides highlights from the annual Congress on CVD Prevention.

Khera, who is also professor of internal medicine and director of the UT Southwestern Preventive Cardiology Program, said the 2019 meeting covers “every aspect of prevention,” including risk factors, lifestyle, advanced therapeutics, women and CVD, and much more. He said attendees can expect to hear about the latest science and research, but will also learn how to apply it to their practices after the meeting.
