The CMHC Chairpersons have extended an open invitation for abstract submissions from all interested parties for posters to be featured and presented at the upcoming 12th Annual Cardiometabolic Health Congress, held in Boston from October 4 to 7.

 The Best Poster award, sponsored by Medical Sciences and selected by Christie M. Ballantyne, MD, FNLA, professor of medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Robert H. Eckel, MD, professor of medicine and Charles A. Boettcher chair in atherosclerosis at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus, Jay S. Skyler, MD, MACP, professor of medicine, pediatrics and psychology in the division of endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and George L. Bakris, MD, professor of medicine and director of the ASH Comprehensive Hypertension Center at University of Chicago Medicine and a member of the Cardiology Today Editorial Board, will include a cash prize of $300.

Additionally, selected abstracts will be published online, and the posters will be displayed during the conference and published through the CMHC mobile app.

According to a press release from CMHC, participants will be given the opportunity to highlight the latest clinical research and evidence-based practices and protocols surrounding practitioners who treat cardiometabolic diseases.

The annual meeting will include over 1,300 cardiologists, endocrinologists, lipidologists, and healthcare professionals and practitioners from across the country, and will offer presentations on the most current developments in the prevention and treatment of cardiometabolic health.

The submission deadline is Friday, August 25 at 5 PM EST.
