PARK CITY, Utah — Growth is on the agenda for Nicole Soucy, PA-C, incoming president of the Association of PAs in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, or APA-AAI.

“We started out with eight physician assistants when we were founded in 1999,” Soucy told Healio in this video during the organization’s Annual Allergy, Asthma & Immunology CME Conference. “Now, we already have over a hundred registered for our conference this year.”

Along with bringing in new members, Soucy’s priorities for the APA-AAI include continuing education and advocacy for the profession.

“We want to continue bringing good quality lectures to our conference every year and have a voice for the physician assistant who works in allergy, asthma and immunology,” she said.
