  • Resources include printed and downloadable handouts and a coaching program.

PARK CITY, Utah — The Allergy & Asthma Network has partnered with the Association of PAs in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, or APA-AAI, to support patient and provider education.

“We provide all of the material that clinics need to be able to treat their patients,” Andrea M. Jensen, CHES, AE-C, education specialist at The Allergy & Asthma Network told Healio during the APA-AAI Annual Allergy, Asthma & Immunology CME Conference.

“The inhaler posters that you have probably seen? That’s us,” she said.

The Allergy & Asthma Network provides printed and downloadable educational materials in English and Spanish for free or with a nominal shipping fee. The organization also has an online coaching program run by certified asthma educators.

“This is a great partnership because we know that PAs are the backbone of a lot of organizations,” Jensen said. “We’re here to support them, to give them what they need to be able to help their families.”
