These Doctor's Orders Go Down Easy

Next time you’re Down Under, make sure you try the local Doctors Orders. . . Australian beer, that is.  Doctor’s Orders Brewing dubs their various brews “prescriptions,” and offers several dozen of them. “Vaccine,” for instance, is a 100 percent wheat beer that uses six different kinds of wheat plus wheat malts to produce a beer that looks and smells like a Porter. “Transfusion” is a traditional German unfiltered and fermented sour ale with a vegetable twist. “Intravenous” is a Belgian Black IPA partially aged in Scottish Whiskey barrels. You get the idea. The company hopes their brews will be available in the U.S. some time soon.
