Activity Description

In this case-based Curbside Consult activity, Drs. Daar and Kassaye discuss cases of patients with HIV and multiple comorbidities or intolerance to their current antiretroviral therapy (ART) regimen and their subsequent clinical course.


Target Audience

The intended audience for this activity is infectious disease specialists, internists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with HIV.


Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Use the most appropriate ART regimen in patients with 1 or more comorbidities.
  • Use management approaches that address intolerance and nonadherence to therapy.

It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Provide only one (1) correct answer for each question. A satisfactory score is defined as answering 100% of the posttest questions correctly. If a satisfactory score on the posttest is achieved, Vindico Medical Education will issue an AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ certificate or CPE Statement of Credit.
