MacCallum's Plaques

MacCallum’s plaques are abnormal thickening of the endocardial or subendocardial surfaces that frequently occur in those with regurgitant valvular lesions such as mitral regurgitation.

The left atrium is the most common location. The clinical significance of this finding is uncertain.
