Wandering atrial pacemaker (WAP) is a rhythm that occurs when three different P wave morphologies are seen on a 12-lead ECG. This is a benign rhythm and no treatment is indicated. If the heart rate exceeds 100 beats per minute, then the rhythm is called multifocal atrial tachycardia (MAT).
