What is the main symptom of Ortner’s syndrome?
Ortner’s syndrome occurs when mitral stenosis causes massive left atrial enlargement compressing the recurrent laryngeal nerve and a hoarse voice. Other causes include thoracic aortic aneurysms and aberrant subclavian arteries.
