Scharschmidt is the director of the Center for Musculoskeletal Oncology and fellowship director of pediatric orthopedic musculoskeletal oncology at Nationwide Children's Hospital and professor in the department of orthopedic surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
