Stephen I. Feller

Feller is online managing editor for infectious diseases, joining Healio in 2022 after more than 5 years as a news editor at United Press International.

Feller’s 29 years of media experience started at student-run 88.5FM WKPX at Piper High School in South Florida. He attended the University of Florida, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Journalism in 2003.

During the last two decades, Feller has reported for national and local news organizations on news, health, politics, technology, the environment, music and art, in addition to dipping his toe in public relations and on the business side of journalism along the way.

When not committing acts of journalism, Feller is most likely found raising a ruckus with his three teenage daughters or searching for the best drink and the loudest band at the darkest bar he can find.
