Robert Stott is a medical journalist and editor. A graduate of Widener University, with a BA in Creative Writing/English, he started his medical publishing career in 2007 as a writer for rt Image and Therapy Times magazine.

At Healio, he is editorial director of the rheumatology and gastroenterology content teams, and was a critical team member in the development of Rheum + Boards, the quiz-based, online learning platform. He has previously covered news in hematology/oncology, infectious disease, pediatrics, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, stroke rehabilitation, and radiology and medical imaging. He and his content teams have won multiple APEX, ASHPE and other medical journalism awards over the years.

A Philly native, he lives in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey and is an avid hiker and National Park System enthusiast.
