Richard Smith

Smith is a medical editor. He received his bachelor's degree in communication from Florida Atlantic University.

Smith has been in medical publishing since 2006. He is a copy editor, focusing on cardiology, endocrinology and women's health. Before joining Healio, he worked at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel for 13 years.

His work as part of the Healio team has been recognized by the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE) and APEX Awards for Publication Excellence.

He enjoys attending sporting events, playing poker and watching crime shows.
