Robert Herpen, MA

Herpen is a journalist specializing in the medical field. He received his BA in Communication from Boston College and MA in Communication from Temple University.

Herpen is currently an Online Content Editor for Healio, specializing in psychiatry and neurology.

A former sports and local news journalist, Herpen won a regional AP award for Best Spot News in 2006 for breaking news and continuing coverage of a deadly fire in a Delaware apartment complex.

Having grown up with a physician parent who presided over his own practice for a quarter century, Herpen looks forward to the challenge of writing for medical professionals and returning to the familiarity of exhibit halls and discovering the latest research when attending meetings.
