Philip A. Bain, MD, FACP

Philip A. Bain, MD, FACP, is a retired internal medicine physician with more than 35 years of experience. He previously practiced in the Midwest and Mountain West, most recently serving as chief of the internal medicine department and chairman of the Practice Effectiveness Committee at Bozeman Health in Montana. Bain has a special interest in headache and migraine care as well as general internal medicine and geriatrics. He has served on several advisory and consulting panels over the years, has written three books on headache and has coauthored several papers published in journals such as Headache and the Journal of General Internal Medicine. He has had a strong interest in practice efficiency and workflow redesign in primary care and has worked with industrial and systems engineers on numerous projects to streamline care in primary care offices.
