Max R. Wursta

Wursta is a medical journalist and editor. He received his BA in Journalism and minor in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University.

Wursta has been in medical publishing since 2020. He is the Online Managing Editor for Healio Orthopedics.

He writes and edits across all orthopedic subspecialties, and specifically enjoys covering the latest news in orthopedic sports medicine. He worked as a journalist and editor for a global surfing magazine prior to joining Healio.

Wursta is an avid surfer, snowboarder and saltwater angler. He enjoys spending time on the beach with family, friends and his two dogs.
