Kate Burba

Kate Burba is a medical journalist and editor. She received her BA in journalism with a minor in creative writing at Hofstra University in 2019.

Burba has been in journalism since 2018, taking on roles in pop-culture writing and social media. She began her experience in medical journalism following graduation with an editorial assistant role with Healio in 2020. She currently serves as the online content editor of Healio Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, long walks, live music and trying out new restaurants.
