Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS
Stiglich is a medical journalist and editor. She received her BA in English and Journalism from West Chester University. She became a Board-certified Editor by the Board of Editors in Life Sciences (BELS) in 1996.
Stiglich has been in medical publishing since 1994. She is the Healio Chief Content Officer and has worked at Healio (formerly known as SLACK Incorporated) for the duration of her career. The content team under her watch follows the Society of Professional Journalists’ Code of Ethics and seeks to serve their physician audience with the content they need and trust.
She has been recognized by PM360 for her achievements as a health care strategist; by Folio as a Top Woman in Media; and by Ophthalmic Women Leaders as a Visionary Woman.
She is a Philly native, a National Park enthusiast and is mother to two Virginia Tech Hokies.
