Jason Laday

Jason Laday is a medical journalist and the managing editor of Healio Rheumatology. He received his BA in journalism and media studies from Rutgers University.

Laday has been in medical publishing since 2015. He has been a part of Healio Rheumatology since 2017 and previously wrote for the Healio primary care and orthotics and prosthetics news groups. Prior to medical publishing, he worked as a reporter for the South Jersey Times and NJ.com.

He received an APEX award in health and medical writing for “Nowhere Else to Go: Caring for Undocumented Patients in Rheumatology.” He additionally was part of a staff award from the New Jersey Press Association for breaking news.

He enjoys movies, reading and writing, and is a diehard fan of the Philadelphia Union.
