Will proliferative response measurement with PET change lymphoma management?
Residual masses on computed tomography (CT) scans following therapy for lymphoma are common. They often represent either necrotic tumor or residual scar tissue from successful therapy. In some instances, however, the residual mass contains viable tumor cells. Researchers are still defining the best way to measure the extent of tumor activity in the residual masses.
