Emma Bascom
Bascom is a features writer for Healio Primary Care. Since graduating top of her class at the University of Kansas (KU) in May 2021, she has worked as a tutor, a reporter for a local newspaper and a freelance editor and writer.
During her time at KU, Bascom won several awards, including the White House Correspondents Association Scholarship and a scholarship for exemplifying the highest standards of journalism.
Bascom enjoys reading and writing (especially fantasy), hiking, teaching, making people laugh, and cuddling with her cat, Luke.
