Diana Stone, MPH, DVM, PhD

Stone is a diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, an emeritus faculty member at Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and currently a professor at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She has been teaching veterinary students for over 30 years. 

 

Her teaching and research focuses are veterinary public health, zoonotic diseases and immunology. Most recently she has been involved in research on bats in Grenada and their exposure to several viruses, including dengue, Zika and chikungunya viruses. She has over 60 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has mentored over 30 graduate students.
