Deborah Ferrington, PhD, is the chief scientific officer at Doheny Eye Institute. Ferrington has more than 20 years of experience in academic research, with a focus on age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Ferrington currently serves as a permanent member of the National Institutes of Health “Biology and Development of the Eye” study section.
