Drew Amorosi

Amorosi is an award-winning medical journalist and editor. He received his bachelor's degree in English and political science from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

Amorosi is a managing editor for Healio | HemOnc Today, specializing in hematology, oncology and cellular therapy. He also is the former managing editor of Healio | Cell Therapy Next, which received a Gold Award in the Best Profile Category in the 2018 American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors competition. His feature writing in health and medicine has been recognized by the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence.

He previously served as senior staff writer and online content editor. Before joining Healio, Amorosi spent 15 years as a journalist and editor in the areas of science, technology and medicine. He has worked on numerous industry-leading titles, including Infosecurity, American Journal of Surgery and Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
