Caitlyn Stulpin
Stulpin is a senior staff writer for Healio | Infectious Disease News. She has been employed by the company since 2018, writing about anything from antimicrobials to emerging disease outbreaks, and everything in between.
Since joining the company, Stulpin has received two APEX awards for feature writing — one for a story about the “broken” antimicrobial market and another on the dangers of leaving women out of clinical study populations. Prior to her time at Healio, Stulpin worked in newspapers. During her time at NJ.com and the South Jersey Times, she won first place at the New Jersey Press Association awards for her profile of feature writing.
Stulpin received a BA in Journalism from Rowan University, with concentrated studies in creative writing and new media production.
When she’s not working or staying up to date on the latest outbreak, Stulpin coaches kickboxing and is an avid obstacle course racer. You can also typically find her in the kitchen cooking or baking something new and delicious to share with her sincerely supportive husband and their boxer mix, Mikeala.
