Alejandro Hoberman, MD

Alejandro Hoberman, MD, is chief of the division of general academic pediatrics and executive vice chair for clinical research in the department of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He was also named the Jack L. Paradise Distinguished Service Professor in honor of his research mentor.

Hoberman has contributed to studies for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute otitis media and urinary tract infections in children.

He has served on NIH special emphasis panels, FDA and NIH strategic planning workgroups, AAP guideline committees, and as a member of the Clinical Translational Science Award Child Health Oversight Committee.
